Maintenance and Optimization of integrated Power Systems

Course Objective: This course is intended to provide the students necessary skills and knowledge to contribute effectively to the maintenance and operation of integrated power systems, with a focus on renewable energy integration and energy storage systems. The course will elaborate on the fundamentals of power system maintenance and optimization in the South Asian Region, life cycle assessment and optimization techniques, load forecasting and scheduling, the impacts of renewable energy penetration on power system maintenance and optimization, and ends with case studies of good maintenance and optimization of integrated power systems.
